About Us
In 2018, a group of guys decided to take a dip in the deep end of the gaming pool. They had previously met every Monday night to play Magic the Gathering, but craved a deeper gaming experience. Fueled by beer and friendship, that campaign is ongoing, but fostered a love for Dungeons and Dragons that has spun into multiple games with almost every member DM’ing their own campaign.
Two of the Dice Boyz decided to apply for the first ever Stumptown Coffee Roasters Passion Project Grant. The goal was simple, create an original story through the interactive role playing platform of Dungeons and Dragons, record it, and release it as a podcast. Stumptown liked the idea, and the Dice Boyz Podcast was born!
Equipment was purchased, sessions were recorded, and everyone broke into different roles (outside of their DnD characters) as the team worked toward producing, recording, editing, and creating a new, original story.
We are excited to share our story with you, and each member of the Dice Boyz has poured countless hours of work into original art, music, and story. We are thrilled to have you along for the ride!
